Historically, the City of Eagle was a rural agricultural town on the outskirts of Boise. However, in the last 20 years Eagle has grown to be an upscale urban city with a thriving cultural scene and business core. Elements of its rural past are still appreciated and celebrated.

Eagle, Idaho is situated along the Boise River and offers miles of public recreational trails along the river. Residents enjoy walking, biking or fishing along the beautiful greenbelt or picnicking in the city parks.  

The best part? Eagle is voted the #1 suburb in Idaho to raise a family. 

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

When it comes to local attractions and things to do in 
Eagle the list is extensive. Golfing is a popular activity in the area. 

Eagle boasts being the location of Eagle Hills Golf Course and Banbury Golf Course, which is consistently rated among Idaho’s top ten golf courses. It is also just minutes from Eagle Island State Park which is a public park featuring a waterslide, swimming beach, disc golf course and more than 5 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails. 

One of the newest attractions in Eagle community is the Chateau des Fleurs which is a fine dining and luxury event center which features European inspired architecture.  The Chateau des Fleurs is hosts community events, weddings,and afternoon tea socials.

Our favorite Eagle eateries are the Bella Aquila Restaurant, Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery, and the Porterhouse Market. The community has many locally owned restaurants and bars to explore! Everything from Italian to Mexican, to Asian to American cuisine.

the Eagle Fun Days, the Eagle Saturday Market, the Eagle Golf Classic
